[LONDON, UK, 20th March 2024] Specialist Biometrics CRO, Veramed, today announced the appointment of Gaurab Chakraborty as Head of India at Veramed.
With 19 years of experience in Biostatistics and Statistical Programming, a Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, and a Masters in Computer Application, Guarab brings a wealth of knowledge to his new role.
As the Head of India at Veramed, Gaurab will have overall strategic and operational responsibility for Veramed’s staff, operational programs, and execution of Veramed’s mission and vision in India. Gaurab will be accountable for all governance and administration, and the implementation of existing and new strategic initiatives to facilitate the successful growth of the region.
Gaurab brings meaningful experience of growing sustainable, high-quality Biometrics teams in India and most recently led a team of 250 biometrics staff across 4 offices and multiple states. Gaurab is currently the chair of the Biostatistics Council of the Indian Society for Clinical Research (ISCR) and is one of the founding members of the Asia-Pacific Coordination Committee of CDISC (AP3C).
